Dunham Massey Park

I think I often underestimate how many beautiful places are literally right at my door step. There are many places that I have seen and that I want to see that are really far away, but sometimes it is worth looking around and apreciate what you can find around where you live.

The Nationaltrust Park in Dunham Massey is one of these gems. A 15 minute drive away there is this stunning Park in the Cheshire country side and it is well worth a visit.

We went there a while ago for a long walk and I managed to take some pictures.

There loads of activities at Dunham Massey Park, free one’s as well as some where you have to pay entry. There also is an ice cream parlour and a restaurant. There are many  activities for children as well.

The day we picked for our visit wasn’t a sunny one, but it didn’t rain. I actually preferred this weather because as a result the park was not too crowded.

I loved watching the deer that are just walking around free in the Park. Such stunning animals!

We went for a long walk in the park and are really looking forward to go again. Next time maybe with some food, a blanket and maybe a book to have a nice Picnic after our walk. 🙂

I often feel like that with places that are close to we I grew up but that I’ve never been to. We’re always told to broaden our horizons…but sometimes it is worth to find new places that are close to us 🙂
