A quick DIY for a pretty Birthday card

One thing I have realised since moving to England is that sending cards to friends and family is a really big thing compared to Germany. There is a card for literally every occasion: there are funny cards, pretty cards and some tacky cards as well.
As much as I love finding pretty cards I do love making them myself. Sometimes you don’t have enough time to spend hours making one card but you still want to make someone happy with a handmade card…and for those situations I found using masking tape is a very good thing.

Basically all you need is a plain card, scissors, masking tape, string, a pen and glue.
Out of the string and the masking tape you can make a baby-bunting and with the glue you attach it to the card.
Sounds easy? Yes, that is because it is easy!

Now the hard bit has actually been done. You can leave it as it is or write ‘Happy Birthday’ on it or whatever.
And who actually says that this has to be a Birthday-card. It could be a Thank-you-card, a Congratulations-card, a get-well-soon-card, or a…. Okay, I’m gonna stop here now :).

Enjoy the rest of your week. Keep going, the weekend is nearly there. 🙂
