Afternoon tea, my dear…

Time is flying …a week ago I was baking carrot cake, looking forward to my Easter weekend. Now Easter is over and I am looking back on a weekend that was busy, relaxed and fun the same time. On Easter sunday we all went to the tearooms in The Gardeners’ Cottage in Tatton Park, Cheshire, and enjoyed a delicious, traditional afternoon tea.

The vintage tea-sets, the interior, the atmosphere, the yummy little treats and the tea…all that together makes an unforgettable experience. When the cake stands arrived you could here amazed ‘Ahs’ and ‘Ohs.’

I think there is not much writing needed…the pictures show how good the atmosphere was and how delicious the sweets and the sandwiches look.

…and after two hours of eating it is really recommended to take a walk through beautiful Tatton Park (even more if the weather is nice in and around Manchester for a change :))
